A peek at my bucket list

I'll give you a quick peek at a few of the items on my bucket list each week...
1. Get a tattoo
2. Go sky diving
3. Go tent camping
4. Travel to Spain
5. Visit the Vatican

2 out of 5 isn't bad for a start; however, the list is over 60 items long as of today.

Have an event to go to this evening for work... I'll try to check in later to give an update.

What I Know For Sure:
When you change the slightest thing about your appearance... EVERYONE notices.  Wore a skirt today and you would have thought it was the first time anyone noticed that I have legs.

UPDATE: @ 8:03pm
Hey... I have my first follower!!!  I LOVE YOU!!!!  Could be that I only have one because I've only told one person about my blog.  Hmmm... could be something to that!

Just got home from the unveiling of The Women's Book 2010.  It's a publication that supports, promotes, and honor women for all of the many hats they wear.  My company was the presenting sponsor and we had a GREAT execution at the event.  Lots and lots of good swag.  For those of you (my one follower) who don't know what "swag" is, it's FREE STUFF!  And as I always say, "Swag makes the world go round."  :)

What Else I Know For Sure:
Women are amazing!  We should all take a moment to celebrate the women in our lives.  Mothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, friends... they come in all shapes and sizes and you won't find a group of people more supportive.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life...

Or... it's just the first day of my the rest of my blogging life.

This year I've decided to develop a "Bucket List" (I'll explain later).  One of the items on said list is to write in a journal or blog every day for a year.  Today is day one!

If you know me, this next bit will be irrelevant.  If not, keep reading so you can learn more about me... you know, if you want to.  Nobody is twisting your arm to read this.  My name is Jennifer (hence the title of the blog) and I'm 37 years old.  I am single with no kids, have parents who taught me the most important lesson of life (how to make good decisions) and the MOST adorable dog in the world!!

Did I write enough to fulfill my Bucket List obligation?  I think that's enough for day one... don't judge me! :P

I'm going to try to end each blog post with what I know for sure.  That wisdom, combined with $2.35 will buy you a tall cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Enjoy!
Jennifer

WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE...

Writing, specifically in a journal / blog, can be cathartic.
