Soooo... I kind of missed yesterday. Not because I didn't want to or that I forgot, I just kind of fell asleep before I got around to it. *YIKES*
YESTERDAY:
Began the day by working at what I like to call "my satellite office." Others like to call it Starbucks. I have a friend who is dealing with withdrawal from her caffeine addition because she frequents a local coffee house that closed it's doors for the week. I say, while I support local businesses, if you stick with Starbucks (and I am a Starbucks gold card carrier), the fact that there's one on every corner = no withdrawal from caffeine!!
Picked Bianca (my car) up from the hospital (dealership) only to find out that the parts and service necessary to get her back on the street were, of course, not covered by insurance (under warranty). And there's another $325 out of my bank account.
TODAY:
I gloriously woke up at NOON! When was the last time you did that? If it's been a while - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
Ran a few errands for tomorrow - the unveiling of Gram's headstone. And now, I'm trying to keep my eyes open long enough to make the trek out to Dennison to pick up my cousin... not leaving until about 11pm. WTF is wrong with this picture?
It's so hard to believe that Gram's been gone a year. It's gone so quickly! I miss her every day. I used to hate it, but these days, I really miss the funny / nasty things she would whisper loudly enough for almost everyone to hear. I used to look at her very sternly and say, "Shhhhh!" or "STOP!" and then I'd usually turn my head and giggle a little bit at what she said. Because after all, it's usually what I was thinking anyway. LOL!
